These terms and conditions apply to all passenger transport services provided by I.G Limousines, for both private and business clients. Any confirmed booking constitutes acceptance of these terms. This is a translation for information purposes: in the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.
1. The provider
SARL I.G Limousines, a French limited liability company with a share capital of €100, registered office at 29 rue Tronchet, 75008 Paris, France. Paris Trade Register (RCS) 107 982 332 — SIRET 107 982 332 00010 — EU VAT number FR85107982332. Private hire (VTC) operator registered under number EVTC075261079. 2. Booking
Under the French Transport Code, a private hire vehicle may only pick up a client who has booked in advance. Requests are made by phone, WhatsApp, email or online form, stating in particular the pick-up place and time, the destination, the number of passengers and bags, and the flight or train number where applicable.
I.G Limousines sends the client a quote. The booking is confirmed once the client accepts the quote and, where applicable, pays the requested deposit (article 5). The client is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided.
3. Prices
Each service is quoted individually, and the quote is sent and accepted before booking. Prices are in euros, including all taxes (VAT applicable to passenger transport). There is no meter and no demand-based surcharge: the accepted price is the price charged, unless the service is changed at the client's request (change of address or time, extra stop or detour, waiting beyond the time included, additional hours of hire), which is charged under the terms stated in the quote.
4. Payment
Payment is usually made through a secure SumUp payment link (card). Cash and bank transfer are also accepted. Cheques are not accepted. The timing of payment of the balance is stated in the quote.
For business clients, invoices are payable by the date shown on the invoice. Any late payment automatically incurs late-payment interest at three times the French statutory interest rate, plus a fixed recovery fee of €40 (articles L441-10 and D441-5 of the French Commercial Code).
5. Deposit (arrhes)
For a larger trip, usually above €150, a deposit may be requested when booking, through a SumUp payment link. Under article L214-1 of the French Consumer Code, sums paid in advance are arrhes:
- if the client cancels before 8 pm on the day before the trip, the deposit is refunded in full;
- if the client cancels after that time, or does not show up, I.G Limousines keeps the deposit, and no other sum is claimed for the price of the trip;
6. Cancellation and changes by the client
For a booking without a deposit, cancellation is free up to 2 hours before the pick-up time. A later cancellation, or the client's absence at the meeting point, may be charged under the terms stated in the quote. Change requests (time, address, number of passengers) are accepted subject to availability and may lead to a price revision.
7. Waiting time and delays
For airport pick-ups, the flight is tracked in real time and the pick-up time follows the actual landing time. The first 30 minutes of waiting after landing are included. Beyond that, and for other pick-up places, waiting is charged under the terms stated in the quote. If the client does not show up and cannot be reached, the chauffeur may, after a reasonable time, treat the trip as not performed due to the client.
8. Passengers, luggage and rules on board
- The vehicle seats up to 4 passengers. The number of passengers and the volume of luggage must be stated when booking; a load exceeding the vehicle's capacity may be refused.
- Carrying children is subject to the French Highway Code rules on child restraints. The client states the presence and age of children when booking; the arrangements are set out in the quote.
- Seat belts must be worn. Smoking and vaping are not allowed on board.
- The chauffeur may refuse or stop a trip if a passenger's behaviour endangers the safety of people or the vehicle.
- Any damage to the vehicle or significant soiling caused by a passenger may be charged at the cost of repair or cleaning.
9. Commitments and liability of I.G Limousines
I.G Limousines undertakes to perform the service punctually, safely and discreetly. If prevented from doing so (breakdown, accident, unforeseen circumstances), I.G Limousines informs the client as soon as possible and endeavours to offer an alternative; failing that, sums paid are refunded as provided by law. I.G Limousines cannot be held liable for delays or non-performance resulting from force majeure, exceptional traffic conditions or incorrect information provided by the client.
I.G Limousines holds commercial general liability and professional liability insurance with Allianz IARD, as required by article L3120-4 of the French Transport Code. Clients remain responsible for their personal belongings; items left in the vehicle are reported to the client and kept at their disposal.
10. Right of withdrawal
Under article L221-2 of the French Consumer Code, contracts for passenger transport services are not subject to the right of withdrawal applicable to distance contracts. The applicable cancellation terms are those of articles 5 and 6.
11. Complaints and mediation
Any complaint must be sent in writing to contact@iglimousines.com or to the company's registered office. If this does not resolve the matter, consumer clients may refer the dispute free of charge to a consumer mediator, in accordance with articles L611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code; the details of the mediator are given in the legal notice.
12. Personal data
Data collected when booking is processed in accordance with our privacy policy.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable settlement, any dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the competent French courts; for business clients, jurisdiction lies with the courts of the place of I.G Limousines' registered office.
